Becky Doemland is the founder and CEO of Good Works Indy, an Indianapolis-based consultancy that cultivates partnership and support between businesses and the nonprofit community. With more than 25 years of corporate philanthropy and marketing communications experience, Becky uses strategic-thinking, creativity and community connections to foster relationships between client companies and organizations. Becky is a licensed benefit auctioneer and an active volunteer with nonprofits in Central Indiana.
She is the Chapter President for Conscious Capitalism Indianapolis, an organization that works to promote conscious business practices in Indiana. Becky is a Board member for Westminster Neighborhood Services, a community center in Indianapolis, and a steering committee member for Women United, a donor network of United Way of Central Indiana. In 2024, Becky was recognized by United Way with its annual Exceptional Engagement Coordinator award for her work to drive employee participation and fundraising in the workplace.
Kara Seward is the 2nd vice president, corporate communications and community engagement at Allied Solutions. She leads all corporate communications functions including employee communications, employee engagement, community engagement, employer brand marketing, crisis communications, media relations and executive communications. Seward joined Allied Solutions in 2022 with 15 years of experience in community relations and communications for nonprofit and government. During her tenure at Allied Solutions, Seward has established the corporate communications team as a trusted business partner and built a community engagement strategy resulting in significant year-over-year increases in employee volunteerism. She currently serves on the board of the Shepherd’s Center of Hamilton County and is a United Way of Central Indiana Leadership United graduate. During her time at Allied Solutions, Seward has also served on the Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts Gala Committee.
